With the onset of Covid-19, education has been thrown on its head. As school districts, teachers and families figure out how to educate their kids, e-learning, remote learning, and homeschool education settings are more and more common.
There’s a lot of uncertainty, and we just wanted to provide a tool that would help any teachers, educator, parent, or youth leader roll out and execute a meaningful arts education for their children.
The IPaintMyMind Arts Education Curriculum & Resource Guide for Teachers, Parents & Caregivers is all about giving you the tools to bring the arts into your classroom, e-learning, remote learning, hybrid learning, or homeschooling set up. Figuring out how to enrich your learning experience through the arts can be a challenge when not interacting in-person, but we’re excited to provide you with a simple, customizable art experience for the young creative minds in your life.
NOTE: If you’re a Chicago Public Schools Teacher – we have a special offer for you.
Teachers and parents will do whatever they can to support their kids, and we take pride in supporting you. By providing you with an easy-to-follow, customizable, interactive PDF with videos and lesson plans, you can mobilize an arts education amid the uncertainty.
This tool is perfect for teachers engaged in remote learning, parents educating in pods or via homeschooling, and any other youth leader or caregiver looking to bring real arts education resources into the fold.
Because we want to get this in as many hands as possible, we’re making this entire 88-page curriculum available for just $197. Once October 1st hits, it’ll be available at its regular price of $297. Still a great deal, but we don’t want anyone to miss out!
A 360 DEGREE, IMMERSIVE ART EXPERIENCE
By making professional, local art resources accessible to teachers, parents, and caregivers nationwide, IPaintMyMind facilitates moments of creative inspiration that move kids, families, and communities forward, even when traditional learning environments are being rethought.
This curriculum also gives adults leading programs for children a connection to local artists, a way to expand their knowledge base, and bring supportive tools into their classrooms, youth centers, parks, recreation centers or homes.
Join our community of enthusiastic educators, parents, youth leaders and caregivers by purchasing The IPaintMyMind Arts Education Curriculum & Resource Guide today for just $197! Available for $297 after DECEMBER 31st.
The IPaintMyMind Arts Education Curriculum and Resource Guide isn’t just a list of links. It’s an educational framework that intentionally moves students through our ‘See, Think, Do’ or ‘Experience, Reflect, Make’ pathway that activates teachers/parents and kids at the same time. By getting to know works by various contemporary working artists, contextualizing it, and making art yourselves, you’ll be enriched and engaged at the same time.
As part of our Three Phases of Learning, our team of curriculum designers and art teachers created Key Questions with accompanying Activities or Arts Lesson Plans, which not only explore technique and aesthetics inherently, but which are also adaptable to various ages. By connecting the practice of making art to the way it lives in the world, IPMM intends to help show adults and children alike that art & creative work is practical and viable.
In Section 5, we’ve included a list of the diverse artist roster represented in the IPMM Permanent Print Collection, an art collection we’ve been building since 2013 and which focuses on art prints exclusively. The list of artists provided is the fuel for diving into the activities. Select an artist or artists to study, then move through the Three Phases of Learning!
In addition to a full arts curriculum, we’ve also included Artist Interviews, articles with perspective and direction on teaching art during remote learning, low-cost art activities for kids without ready access to art supplies, and a list of free outdoor art experiences nationwide.
We also ensure that learning is done by doing, culminating with the last phase of learning, which focuses on making a bunch of art! The Mini-Mural Activity is also a great way to harness your learning into one collective vision through collaborative creative action.
Working with communities over the past 8+ years has allowed us to build incredible relationships with Principals, Vice-Principals, Art Teachers, Park District Supervisors, Head Librarians, Youth Center Directors, Parents, Caregivers and the various important faculty and staff that make any school, park, library, youth center or home a beacon for children.
We’re proud to have provided art programs to over 100 public schools and are excited about our vision of being able to work with schools like yours over the course of 5 or 10 years, collaborating with Teachers, Parents, Youth Leaders and children alike, to co-create a comprehensive, vibrant, and empowering art experience for everyone involved.
The IPaintMyMind Arts Education & Resource Guide is ‘Plug and Play’ so that it can be adaptable to your needs, to the things you want to focus on, and is totally a ‘choose your own adventure’. Enjoy it!
