In addition to our regular art exhibitions and openings hosted at our gallery on the 2nd floor of the Green Exchange, we’ve also been responsible for curating art into the general spaces throughout the building. Being able to share great art with the other tenants in the building as well as guests has allowed us to work with more artists than our gallery walls would allow.
The latest in that line is South-sider Charles Jeffrey. His ability to bounce between styles and do it all so well is amazing. From abstract Pollock-esque splatter pieces, to graphic testimonials to the power and beauty of Black artists like Stevie Wonder, Pam Greer, and Fela Kuti, the lobby at the Green Exchange will be the sponge for this awesome energy all summer long.
Visit the lobby as well as our gallery to see these and other works for yourself at 2545 W Diversey. Dan Grzeca’s show Town & Country is in the gallery and Charles Jeffrey’s work is in the lobby. We’re grateful to show some of the best emerging art in Chicago.
